Getting Started

Metropolitan Charities Mental Health Programs

To participate in Metropolitan Charities Mental Health programs and support groups, you must first contact the Program Specialist to set up an intake appointment. These appointments can be made by calling (727) 321-3854 Ext. 228 or via email to goodmentalhealth@metrocharities.org. All Intake Appointments include the initial assessment and completion of necessary paperwork in order to begin the program.

• Individual and group counseling services are provided to the community at-large, to all persons regardless of their HIV status.
• Individual and group counseling services are free to those eligible for HIV program services.
• Non-HIV counseling and psychiatric services are available and offered for a fee.
• Complete confidentiality is maintained.
