About Metro GLBT

Welcome to the GLBT METRO Center
A Community Center for All! 
"An exciting place that will spark imagination, enhance learning, build friendships, and build community."

The GLBT Metro Center proudly provides social activities, education events and space rental for all! Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Straight, all ages, races and gender identities are welcome to participate in any and all events and activities. Everyone is welcome to participate in all events regardless of ability to donate!

Connecting our Community
Metro Centers provide a safe place for the GLBT community to meet, celebrate and learn. There’s space for activities and small groups, movies, dances and more. Metro Centers have become the living room, sanctuary, town hall and visitor’s center for GLBT people. Come in and enjoy the Metro Centers, where we recognize and celebrate our community’s contributions and uniqueness every day of the year.

Celebrating our Culture
The Centers are committed to expanding our appreciation by a broad range of contemporary artistic expression. Through art, poetry, film, dance, literature, history and music, our programs celebrate the richness, complexity and diversity of our community.

Supporting our GLBT Youth
The Metro Center works diligently to create a safe and affirming environment for young people. Through programming and services, we work to shatter the isolation that many GLBT youth experience.

We provide the GLBT youth with support: crisis-intervention, community building and HIV prevention services in a safe, drug and alcohol free environment. We help end isolation for GLBT youth through activity based programming, support groups and peer leadership development.
